Request body

JSON, posted to this endpoint.

  • querystring

    wool

Search keywords, e.g. "wool" or "hoodie".

  • storestring

    allbirds.com

Domain or URL of a public Shopify store, e.g. allbirds.com or https://kith.com. A store on its own domain is addressed by that domain.

You send. A small JSON body. The values shown are examples to replace with your own.

Response

JSON, one example value per field.

each itemdata.items[]

The store's top matches for the query, in its own order; Shopify's store search returns at most 10. Populated whenever the provider has data for the entity.

  • currencystring

Price currency code, e.g. "USD", or null when the store does not state it.

  • handlestring

Product handle, the slug after /products/ in the product URL; pass it to the Shopify Product SKU for the full product. Populated whenever the provider has data for the entity.

  • imagestring

Main product image URL, or null when the product has no image. Populated whenever the provider has data for the entity.

  • imagesstring[]

All product image URLs, main image first; empty when the product has none. Populated whenever the provider has data for the entity.

  • inStockboolean

True when at least one variant can be bought now. Populated whenever the provider has data for the entity.

  • listPricenumber

Lowest regular (compare-at) price when the product is on sale, or null when it is not discounted.

  • onSaleboolean

True when at least one variant is priced below its regular price. Populated whenever the provider has data for the entity.

  • pricenumber

Lowest variant price in the store's currency. Populated whenever the provider has data for the entity.

  • priceMaxnumber

Highest variant price in the store's currency; equals price when every variant costs the same. Populated whenever the provider has data for the entity.

  • productIdstring

Shopify product id. Populated whenever the provider has data for the entity.

  • productTypestring

Product type the store assigns, e.g. "Shoes", or null when it sets none.

  • tagsstring[]

Tags the store attaches to the product, as the store writes them; empty when it has none. Populated whenever the provider has data for the entity.

  • titlestring

Product title. Populated whenever the provider has data for the entity.

  • urlstring

Product page URL with tracking query parameters removed. Populated whenever the provider has data for the entity.

  • vendorstring

Vendor (brand) the store lists the product under, or null when it sets none. Populated whenever the provider has data for the entity.

top level
  • foundboolean

    True when results were found.

  • reason"not_found"

Present only when `found` is false, and says why there is no result. `not_found`: the source states the target does not exist, or returned nothing for it. A `found: false` answer is a successful call, not an error, and `costUsd` is what it actually cost.

You get back. Named, typed fields in the same shape whichever source answers.

About the Shopify Search API

The AnyAPI Shopify Search API returns Shopify search data as normalized JSON from one POST call to /v1/run/shopify.search. Search one public Shopify store's products by keyword with the store's own search and get its top matches with title, vendor, type, tags, price range, sale price, stock and images. A domain that is not a public Shopify store comes back not found. AnyAPI returns one normalized schema whichever source serves it. It costs from $0.85 per 1,000 requests, in US dollars with no subscription and no monthly minimum. Over the last 30 days, 100.0% of Shopify search calls through AnyAPI succeeded, with a median response time of 1.8 seconds across 1 measured calls.

It costs from $0.85 per 1,000 requests, in US dollars with no subscription and no monthly minimum. You fund one USD wallet and each call draws it down. Some failed wallet-funded requests incur processing charges that we pass through at cost, with no markup; the error response shows the amount charged.

A domain that is not a public Shopify store comes back not found. The response is normalized JSON with the same envelope every AnyAPI endpoint returns, so parsing a second endpoint is a change of URL and nothing else.
