The best Clearbit alternatives now that Clearbit is part of HubSpot
Key findings
  • If your records already live in a paid HubSpot portal, use the enrichment that's built in. Clearbit joined HubSpot, and on September 30, 2026 its homepage sold nothing; HubSpot's enrichment comes with Starter plans from $20 a seat a month and doesn't consume HubSpot Credits.
  • If you call Clearbit from your own code, Hunter is the closest swap. Its company endpoint can answer in Clearbit's schema, costs 0.2 credits a lookup, and works out to $4.90 per 1,000 on the $49 Starter plan, the cheapest price here above about 8,000 lookups a month.
  • If you'd rather pay per lookup with no plan, AnyAPI's organization enrichment filled 230 of 240 field values across 20 domains at $12.00 per 1,000. Check its headcount: it came back at under half the company's LinkedIn count for 4 of the 20.
  • For logos, use Logo.dev. HubSpot recommended it when it shut down Clearbit's free logo URL, and the free plan covers 500,000 logo requests a month.

Built on AnyAPI

427 scraping and data APIs behind one key.

Every endpoint in this post is one call away. Pay per request in USD from a prepaid wallet, with automatic failover when a provider breaks. No subscription, no card to start.

Get ~150 free requests$0.10 of credit on signup.

You had a line of code that sent a domain to company.clearbit.com and got back a name, an industry, a headcount, a logo, and a handful of social links. Maybe it filled in a signup form, or scored leads before they hit your CRM. Then Clearbit joined HubSpot, and its homepage now offers a customer login, a support page, and nothing to buy.

I sent the same 20 company domains, from Stripe and Apple down to a San Francisco bakery, through four of AnyAPI's company endpoints and counted which fields came back. Hunter, People Data Labs, HubSpot, and Logo.dev are priced from their own pages.

Which one you want depends on where your records live and whether you need an endpoint at all.

The best Clearbit alternatives

  • HubSpot for records that already live in HubSpot
  • Hunter for swapping the API key and keeping your code
  • AnyAPI for paying per lookup with no plan
  • People Data Labs for the deepest record, billed only on a match
  • Logo.dev for company logos by domain

What makes a good Clearbit alternative?

A good Clearbit alternative takes a domain and returns a company record, the way Clearbit's Company API did. I'm assuming you used that API, or its free logo URL, from your own code. If you only ever clicked Enrich inside a CRM, the first section is all you need. Here's what I compared on:

  • Field coverage: how many of the twelve fields Clearbit users read most (name, description, industry, headcount, country, founded year, logo, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, tech stack, revenue) came back filled.
  • Headcount you can trust: whether the employee count matches the company's own LinkedIn page, the one number most lead scoring leans on.
  • Price per lookup: at the smallest plan you can sign up for, and whether a domain with no match costs you anything.
  • Getting a key: whether you can start from a website, without a sales call.
How this was tested, and its limits
  • Twenty company domains, one call each per endpoint: 12 large companies, 6 startups, and 2 coffee and bakery brands, plus one made-up domain to see what a miss costs. Three endpoints ran on September 27, 2026; the headcount history endpoint, the LinkedIn lookups, the ten-domain batch calls, and the one research call ran on September 30.
  • A field counts as filled when it's present and not empty. I didn't check whether each value is correct, except headcount, which I compared with the company's LinkedIn page.
  • Hunter, People Data Labs, and Logo.dev weren't called. Each needs an account, and Hunter's signup asks for a work email, so their sections are page reads. HubSpot is a page read too.
  • Prices were checked on September 30, 2026. Plan prices are monthly unless a line says otherwise.
  • Apollo, ZoomInfo, Lusha, and Brandfetch aren't covered here. The data enrichment services roundup covers the contact side, finding a person's work email, which this page doesn't.

Best Clearbit alternative for records that already live in HubSpot

HubSpot

HubSpot pros:

  • Enrichment runs on contact and company records by hand, automatically for new records, or in bulk from an index page or an import
  • It doesn't consume HubSpot Credits
  • Company records are matched on their domain, the same input Clearbit took

HubSpot cons:

  • No endpoint to send a domain that isn't already a record in your portal
  • Not on the free CRM; the knowledge base lists Starter and up

HubSpot's built-in data enrichment is what Clearbit became. HubSpot says its enrichment draws on its own commercial dataset, third-party providers, and public sources, and fills in company properties when it finds a match on the domain.

HubSpot's knowledge base article on data enrichment, Before you get started section: Super Admin permissions are required to configure enrichment settings, data enrichment does not consume HubSpot Credits, and smart properties, on Starter, Professional, or Enterprise, do consume them. Below it, What is data enrichment says company enrichment uses the company domain.
HubSpot's data enrichment article on September 30, 2026: enrichment doesn't consume HubSpot Credits, and company records are matched on their domain.

If your company records already live in HubSpot, turn it on and stop reading. There's nothing to wire up, and the bill doesn't move with volume.

If you sent Clearbit domains from a signup form, a data pipeline, or a product feature, this doesn't replace that. You'd have to create a CRM record for every domain just to enrich it.

HubSpot pricing: included with Starter and up; Starter is $20 a seat a month at list price, with a $7 offer for new customers for a limited time. Checked September 30, 2026.

Best Clearbit alternative for swapping the API key and keeping your code

Hunter

Hunter pros:

  • A clearbit_format option returns the company record in Clearbit's schema
  • A lookup costs 0.2 credits, so the $49 Starter plan covers 10,000 companies a month
  • A domain it can't find returns a 404, and a lookup is only charged when name, category, location, and size all come back

Hunter cons:

  • Signup asks for a work email, so I couldn't test it, and the fill rate here is unmeasured
  • A plan, not a wallet: Starter charges $49 whether you look up 200 companies or 10,000

Hunter went after Clearbit's customers on purpose. Its company endpoint takes ?domain= the way Clearbit's did, and its API docs describe a clearbit_format parameter added "as more customers switch to Clearbit" that formats the response to match Clearbit's schema. If your code parses Clearbit's field names, this is the shortest path back to working.

The charging rule is the part I like. A lookup costs 0.2 credits only when the response carries a company name, a category or description, a location, and a size. Anything thinner is free, and so is a miss.

Above about 8,000 lookups a month, Hunter's Starter plan is the cheapest price on this page. Below about 4,000, the flat $49 costs more than AnyAPI's single lookups, and in between it costs more than AnyAPI's ten-domain batch calls. The free plan's 50 credits cover 250 company lookups a month, enough to check the response against your own domains before you pay.

Hunter's pricing page with Pay monthly selected: Free $0 with 50 credits per month, Starter $49 a month billed monthly with 2,000 credits per month, Growth $149 with 10,000 credits, Scale $299 with 25,000 credits, and Enterprise custom
Hunter's pricing page on September 30, 2026, billed monthly: Starter is $49 for 2,000 credits, and the free plan gives 50.

Hunter pricing: Free, 50 credits a month (250 company lookups); Starter $49 a month for 2,000 credits, or $34 a month billed yearly; 0.2 credits per company lookup, which is $4.90 per 1,000 on Starter monthly. Checked September 30, 2026.

Best Clearbit alternative for paying per lookup with no plan

AnyAPI

AnyAPI pros:

  • The organization enrichment filled 230 of 240 field values across 20 domains, including a logo URL and a tech stack for all 20, at a median of 1.3 seconds
  • Several company endpoints and a LinkedIn company lookup from one key and one prepaid wallet, no plan
  • A batch call takes ten domains for the price of one request

AnyAPI cons:

  • Its organization enrichment reported Shopify at 7,600 people against 30,135 on Shopify's LinkedIn page, and was under half the LinkedIn count for 4 of 20 companies
  • A domain that doesn't exist was billed on three of the four endpoints
  • A fifth company endpoint returned an error for 12 of the 20 domains, and again for the same 12 three days later (not charged)

AnyAPI sells company lookups by the call. The cheapest, organization enrichment, also filled the most fields. A call with {"domain": "stripe.com"} returned this, trimmed to the fields Clearbit users read:

{
  "costUsd": 0.012,
  "output": {
    "found": true,
    "data": {
      "name": "Stripe",
      "domain": "stripe.com",
      "industry": "information technology & services",
      "employeeCount": 8000,
      "country": "United States",
      "foundedYear": 2010,
      "annualRevenue": 6935000000,
      "linkedinUrl": "http://www.linkedin.com/company/stripe"
    }
  }
}

That employeeCount is the catch. Stripe's LinkedIn page said 16,622 the same week. Headcount is the field to check before you score anything on it: the endpoints put Shopify anywhere from 7,600 to 29,888 people, and one said Supabase has 2.

The response panel of the AnyAPI playground after an organization enrichment call for stripe.com: provider AnyAPI, cost $0.012, and a JSON body showing domain stripe.com, employeeCount 8000, employee growth of about 18.8% over 12 months, facebookUrl facebook.com/StripeHQ, and foundedYear 2010
The same lookup rerun in our playground on September 30, 2026, charged $0.012. The employeeCount for Stripe is still 8000.

Toyota (toyota.co.jp)238240237238238

The headcount history endpoint landed within 15% of the LinkedIn page on all 20 companies, and organization enrichment on 9. Agreement isn't the same as right, though. Every endpoint in the table put Toyota at about 240 people, because toyota.co.jp maps to a LinkedIn page with 238 members, and these counts are LinkedIn members rather than payroll.

So pick by the field you need. Organization enrichment is the one for filling a form or tagging an industry, at $12.00 per 1,000, or $6.00 per 1,000 when you send ten domains a call (the batch call returned the same headcounts but no tech stack). For headcount you'll score on, the headcount history endpoint at $96.00 per 1,000 tracked LinkedIn closely and also returns monthly headcount by function. If you already have the company's LinkedIn URL, the LinkedIn company lookup is $1.10 per 1,000 and answered all 20.

Misses aren't free here, unlike Hunter and People Data Labs. A made-up domain was billed $0.012 on organization enrichment, $0.066 on the tech stack endpoint, and $0.084 on the revenue band endpoint, and nothing on the headcount history endpoint. If your list is full of dead domains, clean it first.

If you need more than fields, company.research takes a domain and returns a researched profile, with the source URLs behind most of what it says. One call on tartinebakery.com took about a minute and a half and came back with the founding year, two key people, social accounts with follower counts, recent press, open roles, and other bakeries it picked as competitors. Its tech stack for a bakery listed optometry practice software, so read that part with care. At $0.56338 a company, it's for accounts you're about to spend time on, not for a list.

AnyAPI pricing: $12.00 per 1,000 organization lookups ($6.00 per 1,000 sent ten to a call), $66.00 with tech stack and funding, $84.00 with revenue band, $96.00 with headcount history, $1.10 per 1,000 LinkedIn company pages, $0.56338 per research profile; prepaid wallet, no plan, free credit at signup

Best Clearbit alternative for the deepest record, billed only on a match

People Data Labs

People Data Labs pros:

  • Headcount by role, by country, and by month, plus tenure and churn rates, on one company record
  • Charges per match; a domain it can't find returns a 404
  • 100 free records every month, not a one-off trial

People Data Labs cons:

  • $100 a month for 1,000 records, eight to seventeen times the cheapest lookups on this page
  • The pricing page disagrees with itself: the plan card says $100 for 1,000 records, the comparison table says from $98 for 350
  • Not tested here

People Data Labs is the one to look at when the headcount series is the point: how fast a company is hiring, in which countries, in which functions. Its docs are plain about billing: a match returns 200, no match returns 404, and "We charge per match."

For a form that needs a name and a logo, it's far more record than you need, at many times the price. For account scoring on growth, it's the deepest record on this page, and the free 100 a month is enough to see it on your own domains first.

People Data Labs pricing: Free, 100 records a month; Pro $100 a month for 1,000 records, or $960 a year; enterprise pricing on request. The free plan's rate limit is 10 requests a minute, 1,000 on paid plans. Source: pricing page and docs, September 30, 2026.

Best Clearbit alternative for company logos by domain

Logo.dev

Logo.dev pros:

  • Clearbit's own recommendation: HubSpot's sunset notice for the logo URL pointed users to it
  • Migration is a new base URL plus a publishable key; your existing parameters keep working
  • The free plan covers 500,000 logo requests a month with no card

Logo.dev cons:

  • Free commercial use requires a visible "Logos provided by Logo.dev" link
  • The free plan stops serving when you hit the monthly cap, until the next month or an upgrade

Logo.dev is the pick if the only thing you used from Clearbit was logo.clearbit.com/stripe.com in an <img> tag. You didn't need an enrichment API then, and you don't now. That URL stopped answering on December 8, 2025, and HubSpot's developer changelog named Logo.dev as the replacement.

HubSpot's developer changelog post on the Clearbit Logo API sunset: logo.clearbit.com is deprecated and shuts down on December 8, 2025; under A Recommended Alternative, HubSpot recommends logo.dev and shows the img tag changing from logo.clearbit.com/:domain to img.logo.dev/:domain?token=YOUR-LOGODEV-TOKEN, plus the Logos provided by Logo.dev attribution link
HubSpot's developer changelog, read September 30, 2026: the shutdown date, the logo.dev recommendation, and the one-line image URL change.

Swap the base URL to img.logo.dev, add a publishable key, and you're done. The attribution link applies only to commercial projects on the free plan; any paid plan drops it. If you need more brand data than the logo, its Brand API costs 5 credits a brand, and the free plan includes 500 credits a month.

Every enrichment endpoint in the test also returned a logo URL for at least 19 of 20 companies, so if you're already paying for company records, you may not need a separate logo service at all.

Logo.dev's pricing page with annual billing switched off: Community $0 per month, with up to 500,000 logos, 500,000 brand searches, and 100 brands; Pro $180 per month, with up to 5,000,000 logos and brand searches; Enterprise custom
Logo.dev's pricing page on September 30, 2026: the free Community plan displays up to 500,000 logos, and Pro is $180 a month billed monthly.

Logo.dev pricing: Community free, 500,000 logo requests and 100 brand retrievals a month; Pro $180 a month for 5,000,000 logo requests and 3,000 brand retrievals, extra retrievals 5 cents each, or $150 a month billed yearly (two months free). Source: pricing page, September 30, 2026.

Which Clearbit alternative should you use?

The right Clearbit alternative depends on where your company records live and how many lookups you make a month.

  • Your company records live in a paid HubSpot portal: HubSpot's built-in enrichment.
  • Your code parses Clearbit's response and you look up more than about 8,000 companies a month: Hunter Starter, with clearbit_format.
  • Fewer lookups than that, uneven volume, or no plan: AnyAPI's organization enrichment, and its headcount history endpoint where headcount matters.
  • You score accounts on hiring growth by role or country: People Data Labs.
  • You only showed logos: Logo.dev.

If you're also replacing Clearbit's person lookups, the data enrichment services roundup tests email finders and contact enrichment on 20 people. The company enrichment page lists every company endpoint with its live price.

Frequently asked questions

What happened to Clearbit?
Clearbit joined HubSpot. On September 30, 2026 its homepage offered a customer login, a support page, and nothing to buy; its enrichment runs inside HubSpot on Starter plans and up, and its free logo URL, logo.clearbit.com, shut down on December 8, 2025.
Is there a free Clearbit alternative?
For logos, yes: Logo.dev's free Community plan covers 500,000 logo requests a month, with an attribution link on commercial projects. For company records, Hunter's free plan gives 50 credits a month, which is 250 company lookups, and People Data Labs gives 100 free records a month (pricing pages, September 30, 2026).
Which Clearbit alternative returns Clearbit's response format?
Hunter. Its company endpoint takes a domain the way Clearbit's did, and a clearbit_format parameter returns the record in Clearbit's schema, at 0.2 credits a lookup, or $4.90 per 1,000 lookups on the $49 Starter plan (Hunter's API docs and pricing page, September 30, 2026).
How accurate is headcount from a company enrichment API?
Check it before you score on it. Across 20 domains tested on September 27 and 30, 2026, AnyAPI's organization enrichment put Shopify at 7,600 people against 30,135 on Shopify's LinkedIn page and was under half the LinkedIn count for 4 companies, while its headcount history endpoint was within 15% of LinkedIn for all 20.

Company records from a domain, $12.00 per 1,000 lookups at the lowest price, billed per request from a prepaid wallet with no plan. New accounts get free credit, no card required.
