Request body
JSON, posted to this endpoint.
- querystring
Web Development
The service to search for, as keywords (e.g. 'Web Development', 'Accounting', 'Photography').
- geoIdstring
LinkedIn geo id to target a precise location (e.g. 103644278 for the United States); more exact than the free-text location, and overrides it when both are sent.
- locationstring
Australia
Optional location filter as a place name (e.g. 'Australia', 'New York'). LinkedIn picks its closest location match, so a short or ambiguous name can land elsewhere; use geoId for an exact place.
- pageinteger
Which page of up to 10 people to return, starting at 1 (1-100, default 1). Each page is billed as one request.
Response
JSON, one example value per field.
People offering a matching service, in LinkedIn's order. Populated whenever the provider has data for the entity.
- aboutstring
Profile about / summary text, when the member has one.
- headlinestring
Profile headline (the tagline under the name). Populated whenever the provider has data for the entity.
- idstring
LinkedIn member URN id for the profile. Populated whenever the provider has data for the entity.
- imagestring
Profile picture URL. The query string is a signed token, so keep the URL intact.
- locationstring
Member's location as a single string (city, region, country). Populated whenever the provider has data for the entity.
- namestring
Member's display name. Some members show only a last-name initial (e.g. 'Chris S.'). Populated whenever the provider has data for the entity.
- serviceUrlstring
URL of the member's LinkedIn service page. Populated whenever the provider has data for the entity.
- servicesstring[]
Names of the services the member offers (e.g. 'Web Development', 'Web Design'). Populated whenever the provider has data for the entity.
- urlstring
LinkedIn profile URL built from the member id (https://www.linkedin.com/in/<id>). It opens the profile and can be passed to linkedin.profile. Populated whenever the provider has data for the entity.
The search result, or null when not found.
- pageinteger
The page this response holds, starting at 1, or null when not reported.
- totalPagesinteger
Number of result pages LinkedIn will serve for this search (at most 100), or null when not reported. Stop paging after this page.
- totalResultsinteger
How many people match the search in total, including those past the last reachable page, or null when not reported.
- foundboolean
Whether any service providers matched.
- reason"not_found"
Present only when `found` is false, and says why there is no result. `not_found`: the source states the target does not exist, or returned nothing for it. A `found: false` answer is a successful call, not an error, and `costUsd` is what it actually cost.
